Snap your plate, or tell us what you ate.

With Aklti, logging your food is easier and more fun. Snap your meal and Aklti recognises what’s in it and estimates its calories, and keeps track of your food and water through the day, to bring you closer to your goal: losing weight, keeping it steady, or supporting your training.

Eat and enjoy — Aklti helps you stay on the way to your goal.

Log a meal in three steps

  1. A plate of scrambled eggs, avocado on wholegrain toast, cherry tomatoes and rocket

    Snap

Photograph the plate, or the whole tray. The photo is analysed once, then deleted.

  2. The “Describe your meal” screen with the text: Had grilled chicken with rice and a glass of milk.

    Say

No time for a photo? Type or say what you ate, the way you’d say it: “Had grilled chicken with rice and a glass of milk”.

  3. The “Review your meal” screen: roast chicken with skin ≈ 330 kcal, white rice ≈ 240 kcal, whole milk ≈ 150 kcal, total ≈ 730 kcal with protein ≈ 50 g, carbs ≈ 65 g and fat ≈ 27 g.

    See

Check the foods and amounts, fix anything in one tap, then log it. Nothing is logged before you’ve seen it.

It knows the food we actually eat

From a breakfast of eggs or oats to rice and chicken for lunch and pasta for dinner. If a dish isn’t in the database, Aklti breaks it into its ingredients and counts each one from the database.

Numbers with a source

≈ 730

kcal

Grilled chicken with rice and a glass of milk, as shown in the app.
  • AI only recognises the food and how much of it there is. Calories, protein, carbs and fat come from a food database (USDA FoodData Central).
  • A photo is not a scale, so every number is an estimate (≈) with a range.
  • If a value is missing, we tell you the total is an underestimate. We never fill it in with a guess.
  • Change any food or amount, and save your own dishes with your own ingredients and amounts.
The plain boiled pasta screen: ≈ 200 kcal per cup (≈ 124 g), protein ≈ 7 g, carbs ≈ 38 g, fat ≈ 1 g.

Your whole day in one circle

The ring is your daily goal, worked out from your age, height, weight and activity. Each meal is a plate on its rim.

  • A bowl of yogurt with blueberries, banana, pomegranate, granola and nuts
  • Grilled chicken and kofta with grilled vegetables, salad, herbed couscous and a yogurt dip
  • Roast salmon with potatoes, roasted vegetables and lemon
The “Today” screen: the goal ring with ≈ 359 of 1674 kcal left today, meal plates on its rim, and protein, carbs and fat below.
The “Your progress” screen: calories by day against the daily goal, about 1710 kcal a day on average, and this week’s split of carbs, protein and fat.
The “A full week” badge celebration: you logged your food 7 days in a row, with a share button.
  • See your week on one page, and log exercise by hand.
  • Badges for logging and moving, never for eating less. Share them, or turn them off.
  • Meal reminders at the times you choose. Missed a day? No guilt.

Questions people ask

Is Aklti out yet?

Not yet. It’s coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. To hear when it’s out, write to support@aklti.app.

How accurate are the numbers?

They are honest estimates. AI recognises the food, the values come from a food database, and each number is shown with ≈ and a range. You review and edit everything before it’s logged.

Do you keep my food photos?

No. A photo is sent once to be analysed, then deleted.

Can I use it if I have a health condition?

Aklti is a nutrition tracking tool, not medical advice. With pregnancy, breastfeeding, insulin-treated diabetes, kidney disease or an eating disorder, the app sets no calorie target and no weight-loss plan. Talk to your doctor.

How old do I need to be?

Aklti is for adults, 18 and over.

Are there ads?

No, and no ad tracking.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Privacy & data → “Delete my account and data”. Or write to privacy@aklti.app. Details on the account deletion page.
